According to an Oct. 25, 2016 report at HousingWire.com, Black Knight Financial Services show homeowners in the U.S. who are facing foreclosure has hit a 9-year low.
In a review of September 2016 mortgage data, only 1% of all mortgages were in active foreclosure.
Per the report, “there are 2,674,000 properties that are 30 or more days past due or in foreclosure.”
